Preparation for first phase of voting completed Additional chief election officer Dilip Shinde

Mumbai,(timenewsline network):- The preparations for the first phase of election to be conducted on 11 April for the Loksabha in the state are completed. Employees for polling stations in 35 remote hamlets had been sent today said additional chief election officer Dilip Shinde.
The polling for the first phase in the state will be held for seven Loksabha constituencies.
For this 14 candidates from Wardha,, Ramtek -16,Nagpur -30, Bhandara-Gondia-14, Gadchiroli- Chimoor-5, Chandrapur-13, and 24candidates from Yavatmal- Washim are in fray.
The entire preparations for this phase had been made.The deployment of Human resources, police force and other security forces have also been done. Choppers are going to be pressed in service for transportation of the election officers and employees in extreme remote areas.
The implementation of the Model Code of Conduct is strictly followed in the state and till date cash and other consignment worth rupees97 crores had been seized.
This include cash of rupees 30crores, liquor worth rupees 17 crores, drugs worth 4.61crore rupees, gold, silver and other valuables of rupees44 crores.The cVIGIL made available for the citzens to file complaints related to breach of Model code of conduct is being effectively used by the citizens across the state. Till now two thousand 527 complaints have been received and one thousand 497were found genuine and hence  necessary action was initiated after inquiry. The types of complaints received on the cVIGIL App includes that of illicit liquor, distribution of liquor for alluring voters, sporting posters without permission, damaging the public property and like topics.
